GM folks:

Power is still out and I am on a generator and wood stove insert...Hope others are doing better than I.

Most places I know have a min on how many chicks you can to keep people from buying solo's...

Keep warm!!!
hang in there, shouldn't be to much longer, crews really are working overtime to get power back on.

seen some east indie ducklings up for auction, I am so tempted....but I promised no more ornamental birds, they have to have a good purpose......

I could always ask for forgiveness after the fact..

Snowing again here & we still haven't managed to get the car down the driveway. We've been stuck 11 days this time. It was over 2 weeks last time. Good thing I stocked up on groceries while I was out.
are you sure you want me to send eggs next week,,, you do have to get down the driveway to be able to pick up, or risk them sitting in a mail box at this time of year...

would you prefer i wait a week to see what the weather does,,,,,,

I am up to 2 muscovy eggs a day, I should eventually get 4 a day....

let me know so I know when to start collect eggs for shipment.

You can send them whenever. I know what time the mailman gets here. I'll track them & stalk him...lol
I plan on heading to the post office on Tuesday, will let you know when,

so far I have 3 muscovy eggs, 2 from yesterday, only found 1 today, not sure why,,,,I have been having trouble with geese landing in the field and wondering into the duck pens, not sure if this may be shaking them up or not.......never seen them fighting, but the ducks are a little weary of the geese eating their food.

And again. thanks Silkie,,,I look at it this way,,,,I will be checking fertility, and how well the eggs travel (I have a lot of trouble hatching muscovy eggs that have been shipped)

I can not set up my incubator and run it for the price of shipping, and if i set it up I will go to hatch, and I do not want a brooder full of birds right now...
