I wonder if stake has some?

These little boogers grow up so fast. They have all started perching on the sides and occasionally falling off and shrieking for help. I have my dog crate ready, but I think they are still a bit small. They seem to like to perch, but I don't think they are trying to escape. This a a common scene after a little over a week after purchase:

And this blurry pic is our parrot (whom we placed) on the side of the brooder box. He's such a wimp, totally terrified of those little fast moving critters that make noise. The reason it is blurry is because he was trying to run away. Haha!

OMG! I cannot believe they got that big in only one week! wow!
thanks for the pics and update............PLEASE keep them coming.............I am doing just what you are starting next week!

parrot is funny too!

I have some ducks for sale: I don't think I need 15. Trio of blue and white Ancona, 1 Khahki Campell, and a trio of Blue Swedish(blue drake, black, silver ladies). I have no idea if they are SOP. They are very beautiful birds! PM for more details.

Also I don't have enough time to read the whole thread. If anyone needs anything please feel free to PM!!!!!! :)

Awwwww. Now I feel bad. I can wait. Although I have been very curious as to how you were digging with the ground still frozen, AND I'm really interested in seeing your nest boxes as I think you said they will open into the storage side?...or was that someone else?

lol, don't feel bad! Digging in the frozen ground want fun. I'm actually amazed our spade shovel survived it (though I did here it crack a couple times). And yes that was me with the boxes opening into the shed side BUT it'll be a while till we put them in. Wall frames and roof are the main concerns to get done right now. We only have another week and a half till hubby goes away so we'll be super busy working on it till then lol.

Hey all, I have been hatching my own chicks for the past 4 years and have never used a turner. I got one this year, and am using it currently. Someone told me that I should put my eggs in little end down, I didn't do that. Should I switch my eggs? Any advice?
