Hard to see, but I counted three baby bunnies in the box

easter bunnies, I have not even given thought to the bunnies yet, hubby wants to try a colony set up,,,I am not so sure that I want that, I think cages would be the easier way...

Cages seen easier to me. Also controlled breeding. Only downside is initial cost. I'm going to build me own after the initial 11

QUESTION: Does the climbing and moving on the eggs by the chicks that have hatched first make it harder for the others to hatch?

This one is Californian. I have several breeds.

CC: I've told this story before....but one more time....Crazy Uncle retires to a Scranton farm....decides that Rabbit is the next chicken...(raised them in Bucks Co also)...gets a bunch going...is up to 400+ and contacts the state to find out what is require to dress them out and sell them....State says something like $25,000.00 worth of Stainless Steel and a bunch of water control and other procedures....net sum a freezer full of Rabbit...and he started raising dairy cattle...have lots of stories about that too....but for a rabbit guy,,,,have you ever thought about catching wild and domesticating them...I saw a bunch on sale at the local outlet, but the prices seemed steep to me...my two cents....

Long story, but she rescued me!

Fawngrovechad had posted her on here. She came out of a kill shelter down south. She was hours away from euthanasia, scared and filled with parasites.
His wife was (is?) working with a rescue group.

Catching wild and fundraising? Have you heard of the game commission? Domestic also have more meat.
Yes it is expensive meat top but, $6-7/#.
For now I'm raising for myself.
