Mealworms being packed as I type, ( I knew that 28 year old daughter still living at home would be useful)...

Hope It's this safe for mealworms, I think the temps are good to them.
Everything shipping out in the morning.

Anybody else for an egg swap, let me know whatz you got.

I just got a incubator and automatic turner from an ad on Craigslist. Now I have to bleach it up good and get a thermometer and set it up and see how it holds temperature. Hopefully I can hatch out some turkeys. I think I may have a broody turkey, She was on the nest all day today and on the nest the past 2 days on and off. I never had baby turkeys so that will be fun and different for me :)

I haven't seen anyone I know at Green Dragon...anyone make it to the auction?
I am there approximately twice a month, but I didn't make it this evening. We usually sit on the opposite side of the auctioneer on the top bench up against the wall.

Can anyone give me a guess to what this might be. It was in the bantam bin with the silkies I purchased. I was first thinking that it was a meat bird but it is now still slightly smaller than the silkies at 4-5 weeks of age. Taking poultry to auction tmw and am willing to keep this one if it might be worth my time to see what it grows up to be. Is it possible that its a Cornish bantam?
400

I've tried to get a better picture but it won't cooperate.

For size my guess would be old english game bantam...and a pullet if it's already over 3 wks old & comb so tiny.

I know I do not need any new breeds, but I like leghorns, and came a acRoss some mahogany red ones on eBay, has anyone ever had these or even heard of them?

Not familiar with them, though the brown are interesting....

We shall see, I just bought eggs from eBay, my leghorns are aging, the youngest is about 4 yeas so maybe it is time to replace them...and the red looked good I. The pics.....also like usual when ebay shopping, I blame the captain..

They only cost 3.00 plus shipping so worth the risk

I must go to sleep now, I has bids out on painted geese and hookbill ducks.....I know nothing about either one of these... good thing hubby is such a softee...
The red leghorn will be going I the incubator, so we shall see what happens there....

Also Sicilian buttercups,,,

eBay is an evil place for those that like the pictures
