Soooooo tired! I finished the "hoop tractor" and stocked it with 28 chicks, mostly 7 - 9 weeks old. It was there first time on grass and they were a bit tentative, but ended up loving it of course. Some of the young roos were really feeling it, and I had some minor cockfights a few times.

I forgot to take pics, sorry. I am quite happy with how it turned out. I estimate I have about $100 in materials and it is 8 x 12. I think I need 4 or 5 of these!
Gotta remember the pics tomorrow.

I also got a lot of eggs today. Is 126 eggs a lot?
 
I had one hive last year, the year before a black bear demolished them, I am going to do have 2 this year. I belong to CABA, how about you?

Well, all thing being relative...if I get 5 a day from my crew, I claim victory.....congrats, wouldn't know what to do with that many eggs...

stake----how many girls do you have now? I have 4 and they have been very faithfully laying one a day...........................at least 5 days a week..............I just kinda thought you have a ton more chickens than me..........

now 126 eggs..............wow............... hope you have customers or a very big family...............

You are gonna need a few more tractors,,,
You do mean hatching eggs right?
 
I seperated the quail today, CC was right, there's a bobwhite in there...I do not remember hatching any bobwhite...



and a pair of these, I believe they are valley quail
