I LOVE those albino chicks!!! So cool, never saw that before...

Questions on the SFH...
how does their egg laying rate...
how many do you generally get a week per bird?
Egg size? Are they prone to broodiness?....
Only asking cause I am really getting used to the idea of a mixed flock and not so much just one breed....don't get me wrong, I LOVE my Wyandottes..they are great, but it would be fun to explore other breeds now that I have a few extra-unexpected- Marans...

Eggs - small to medium, maybe 150/ year.

Broodiness - they are a heritage landrace that free range in their native country, so yes, I've had several go broody successfully.

Yes he is a schipperke! Ruger was our first baby! Most people have no idea what kind of dog he is!
we're on our second one, our first we lost when he was seven, liver cancer, was like losing our child, hunted and found our second one, this one, we love him to pieces but i swear they bred the brains right out of him lol, hooch, our first was one smart dog, bud, our second, not so much but he is lovable, hooch would bite in a heart beat if he thought you were going to hurt us, bud would probably help lol

Wow, husbands sure do get a little testy when you forget things like anniversaries, I think I will go visit the chickens for awhile, it is quieter
