HugsGuys... I'm so upset. Chippy was missing today, the only thing I found was a fee feathers. I think it was a fox... She was 4, and still so healthy. I can't believe she's gone![]()
Thanks so much everyone. It's just that she was my first one, the one that made me fall in love with this hobby. She's been the sole survivor and has seen many of her friends come and go. She was the hardiest old battle axe and now she's just gone. I'll never see her again, and it just tears me up. I never knew I could love a chicken so much. She knew her name, would come when I called her, did tricks, everyone loved her. She stood up to every roo I've had and didn't take any crap. She made the rules, she was the queen bee. Before I noticed she was gone, I found one of my broodie's chicks drowned in one of the big black bowls. I didn't think they would ever be able to jump that high. It was my favorite one. So all around it was a pretty sad day.I'm so sorryGuys... I'm so upset. Chippy was missing today, the only thing I found was a fee feathers. I think it was a fox... She was 4, and still so healthy.
