Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

I haven't even bothered with Mt Hope this year except for the Wed auction to get goats

amen, if no birds i usually don't bother with mt.hope, been going to eighty-four auction tho when i need to sell a rooster or whatever, was planning on going out to mt.hope tho this year to sell the rest of my english keets tho so my son doesn't have to take care of them while we're down in florida but doesn't look like its going to happen

Uniontown will have their swap again Sept 13. Might be worth taking them there.

naaa, haven't you noticed that most of the buyers there are cheap, they only want to buy if its cheap, been going to the swap for over 40 years or so

Only my leftovers that don't sell from home ever make it to the swaps, so I'm usually willing to part pretty cheap...except on the incubator I was asking $150 for. Guy offered me $50. Told him $75. He didn't want it for that so I didn't go lower. I mean really? You get me to cut my price in HALF & you still think it's too much???

YEP! happens all the time when we do the yard sale at the Legion.......I mean I'm willing to barter a little, but ****....

Cool! Sounds like a deal. Will keep you posted on the hatch.

Speaking of the underground chicken railroad, does anyone in the Poconos need anything chicken related?
@barbiegirl ? Will be out there in a few weeks for vacation.
I haven't been on in a week or so. Can't catch up with all the posts. My son has me running around, he is learning to drive and I have to take him driving lol.

What are you doing in the Poconos?

If anyone is looking for a Partridge silkie rooster I have one available for $20.

This weekend has been wood splitting, getting ready for winter.

Now we have to stack all this wood we split. Have some large logs to cut into rounds and split as well. I hope we will have enough for the winter.

I've noticed it's everywhere.....everyone wants something for nothing......sad but true

Not quite everyone, if I need something and I fully believe that it will serve my need, I am willing to pay the asking price, but I don't really like swap meets.

told you, most of them are still living in the 1920's even if they're in their 20's & 30"s, the english go for 50.00 to 75.00 at the shows, mine were top of the line, not cheapies, i paid that and shipping to get my breeders, then had to wait a year for them to mature before breeding, the hens should be at least a year old before breeding, i did take some last year, offered them for 20.00 each, everyone wanted to pay two and three dollars ea, NO WAY
getting ready to go to eighty-four auction , see ya
