Five bags of layer and a bag of grower/finisher. 'Cause math happens!

With only six for the moment, this should get me through for a while. I must admit, I almost bought two more bags. Oh! And two flock blocks! I am so proud of myself for being prepared this year!

Great job :) I'm waiting for my organic feed provider to let me know when I can go pick up. I've been out for a while and only buying 2 bags at a time from TSC.

Sweet! Nothing like being prepared! We got a bunch of hay today, won't last through the winter, but will cover us for a while.

Found my baby silkie squished to death this morning.

I guess it got too cold last night and all the babies crammed in the corner to stay warm. When I went to the bus stop it was only 39 degrees.

Oh and lucky me, the reaction from the medication the doctor prescribed me has me in a sling for a week. Of course it is my dominate hand and I am finding it hard to get things done. Sigh. The doctor knew last year I had a reaction and she still prescribed it to me since the medicine couldn't have caused my problems last year. I'm so angry.

Cookie and her babies were having a wonderful "spa" day today filed with dust baths and sunbathing :) The babies are growing like weeds and it won't be long until they're bigger than her. They've also started to ignore her a bit and wander off on their own. She gets rather frustrated When she's trying to get them to go somewhere with her and they just walk off and she had to follow them lol

Rosco saw me taking pictures so he had to come get his taken too. @dheltzel, Rosco has grown into quite the handsome boy and is my absolute favorite rooster :)

I'm sorry to hear about your baby and your arm :( I hope things start getting better for you.
