MCC, Duck are chickens that like water....why don't you just set a few days late....

Had a hawk attack, got my in-firmed brown leghorn girl(a re-home)....a really small hawk,,,maybe a falcon...got her in the late afternoon next to my deck, and came back for breakfast the next morning... chased it off my deck banister at 6:00a, she was really stubborn to leave jumping away to a new perch and shaking her tail...always a bit sad about the attrition...seems its part of having chickens...I've got three chooks over a 2 years old and the rest youngster...maybe I need a new years hatch?

Welcome! I'm not too far from you. I'm in Patton, maybe an hour at most from you

I am traveling to Patton this weekend to give my 12 ducklings to a man who incubates and hatches chickens, ducks, etc. This isn't you is it?!?

I have 2 young mallards. 12 babies that I am parting with this weekend. THINKING of investing in maybe 2 chickens this spring. I live in town, have neighbors and such so I can't have too many feathered friends. I got my two mallards as an Easter present for my girls this past April. Thought we'd watch them
Grow and rehome them to a "farmer" I never expected owning ducks would be so rewarding.
