Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

Hi everyone ;). I am from Northwestern PA and have recently gotten two Khaki Campbells. One duck one drake. I am looking for someone around here to get two or three more ducks for my drake. They don't have to be kcs. I am open to other kinds as well. Please let me know if you or someone you know has ducklings for sale. Thanks

Welcome! Khakis are great ducks, excellent choice! If you weren't in the complete opposite corner of me, I would direct you to my local TSC, which currently has some khakis marked down to 1 dollar (if they're still there) hope you find the ducks you're looking for

Welcome.

All 52 chicks that were shipped to me yesterday are in great shape and seem happy. Boy, were they loud for a while. Expressing displeasure about getting shipped halfway across the country, or else hungry.

I just bought 6 large egg collecting baskets to try to streamline the collection and washing of eggs to sell. We have a lot of extra eggs now. People want to buy them, but my nieces don't want to wash them, even if they get to keep the money. They want me to wash them and still give them the money, I guess. When I was a teen . . . (better just stop there, or this will end up as how I had to trudge uphill to school every day)

Love those bantam Lavender Ameraucanas. I need to get new batteries for the camera and upload some pics. Seems I can get a bit lazy too.

GM all:

Had Mr. Fox try to dig under my landscape ties around the chook pen....fortunately all accounted for,,,,would've liked to have gotten a shot at him...I slept in a bit as I was out with the dog at 2:00a...
Well, re-secured the pen, maybe tomorrow I'll get him.....

Kids are lazy now days and always want the reward, but never want to work for it. My son is 15 and has one chore. He does the dishes. You think it was the end of the world. We got 21 pullets last weekend and my girls 2,4,and 6 are all about helping and cleaning their bin. They are starting to name them and the older ones can't wait to collect eggs even though it will be a while yet.

It is good to start young and teach responsibility. :thumbsup
