Well hell. Went out to check on my broody Bridget and she was dead. Looks like she just put her head down and died. No sign of trauma. The eggs were all cold under her. So much for that batch. Insert a bunch of bad words here.

Sorry to hear....kinda weird though, I wouldn't think a sick bird would go broody????

First, good morning.
I have to wonder if the hen didn't starve or dehydrate?
LMP lets me know once in a while that she is alive. She wants to be online, but says she has computer problems.
Things are about the same for her as they were when she was last around (what? A year ago?).

Have a question, I have a girl who has had some sort of sniffles/congestion for about two months....it hasn't affected her in any way, but I just noticed another bird with the same congested breathing...so, should I start tetracycline or something else???,,, or just wait ???

my bater is plugged in....

I love Vet Rx. It could be that you have girls with allergies, but ... I think the Tetracycline would be a good idea. That long seems like a real problem.
