Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

If you hear of any Clearfield swaps, let me know! I don't head up there often since Rural king moved in but I'm going to have lots of poults and peeps to sell this year. Gotta save up for our trip in July!
They are standard LF ameraucana sized. I got mine originally from @Dheltzel . I believe that he said that there's no silkie blood in them and that the feathering happened genetically? Don't quote me on that one. I may have misunderstood. If you ended up with boys, I'm sure i could take them back, but i can't promise a happy ending for them...




There is no silkie blood in these, they are the result of a random mutation in a flock of pure Ameraucanas. Using a silkie would have created a lot of recessive, non-Ameraucana traits that would be popping up years later. There is a rather extensive message thread here on BYC explaining all about them.

If you got a roo and advertised him for sale with pictures and an adequate description, I bet you could sell him for quite a lot to someone with black or lavender Ams that wanted to make silkieds.
