Been away for a bit. @fisherlady
I love the pictures you shared! Adorable.

Nothing exciting happening here. No more chicks due to apartment restrictions :hit  But the 7 chicks we do have are almost ready to go outside with the 7 adults.  Just waiting for it to warm up a bit more! Seriously wondering if I can sneak in some more chickens from a neighbor... Maybe nobody will notice?!

If anyone wants silkie babies, my mother in law has some and will be borrowing my incubator to hatch more out to sell.

Silkies?! Ooooo what color(s)?? (Is not interested at aaalll lol)

SO EXCITED! I got a notice from Sandhill that they are sending some chicks tomorrow. They will call to confirm, but I expect them Wednesday. These are not the ones I ordered for @AnneInTheBurbs or @stake (sorry). Those are still set for June. Not sure what is coming, but new breeds of chicks are always a rush. I don't even know how many, the total order was 100, but it says multiple shipments.

I am so excited
The months are winding down and in August my LF White Chanteclers will finally arrive
I wish the weather would warm up so we can get started on the new Woods Open Air coops
No more heating coops and stressing how cold will affect them.
Best,
Karen

She says she has 6 she is trying to sell now. I believe they are all black pure silkies. I will ask. She is in Ripley, NY. But can bring them to me near Erie, PA. I've heard of the chicken train as well. What is that? Maybe that'll be useful for us to get silkies over to other folks farther away.
