So when are you getting permanent turkeys? Where does the lady live that has Midget whites?  I may want some new bloodlines in my flock next year, I really enjoy them.

@AnneInTheBurbs Probably never... Fiancée says they're scary lol (they are quite sizeable!) Plus now with 6 chickens, and a run to build, I'm just fine with the random wild ones for now.

Lady is located in Dillsburg. I can PM you her number if you'd like. I don't remember how many other turkeys she had, or if they were even for sale. I was with the chicks but her tom was free ranging/snooping and spotted me

Thank you, I just looked it up and Dillsburg is a bit too far. Oh well! We know @dheltzel always has the poultry hook up.
I do know a local breeder whenever you feel you need an outcross. The ones you have a brother/sister, but their parents were unrelated, so I don't think you have to worry for a few generations.

Thanks, I agree, for now they are fine. But for the future, I might need some new lines. For my incubator eggs, (Midget White and chicken eggs, all were
set to hatch approximately the same couple days), when do I turn off the turner? Day 25?

I agree! Great pictures. Fisherlady, your pics were so cute too! I am loving having broodys again. My new one, Cinnamon is doing a wonderful job. She took them out yesterday, and got everybody back in the coop, which is quite a feat considering how young they are and the big climb they have to do!

I have to laugh, my one SPR wasn't a very nice chicken, Atila the Hen was always my most skittish, even though she was raised the same as the others.
