I've completely given up trying to get any kind of water that isn't frozen to them. We've got two heat lamps in the coop and their water is still a block of ice.

FYI, there are new egg tracking apps. I didn’t check the incubation apps. Just the ones that track feed, eggs laid, etc.
Ooo I may have to take a look at that. We just got our new coop delivered for the show birds till I can get the one for the bantams. My little ones in the brooder are doing okay, still being ridiculous and trying to escape every five minutes. And I feel like i've been covered in DE. We had a chicken that died yesterday that was covered in lice....ugh I've never had to scrub so much in my entire life. So two 50lb. bags of DE and I feel like I crashed into a flour factory.... ugh.

Picked up 9 little ducks at the PO this morning. All were happily drinking from the heated water bowl in their new home when I went to work. I had never seen Australian Spotted ducks except in pictures, they are very nice looking and not as skittish as I had anticipated.
I can't wait to open their pool for them to swim. I want to be there to observe for a while to make sure it is working and not dangerous in any way.

My heated water bowl has been excellent this entire time. I love knowing they always have a clean supply of water.

Also, I have found excellent lice/ mite treatment by using Vetrx (like an oil mix available at TSC and other places). I put a couple of drops behind their head, around their vent, and under each wing. I have found that if you use it on a white bird, they can look dirty, as the oil may make some dirt stick to their feathers. Works great for me though, I have to give everyone a treatment now that it is above freezing.

I think @dheltzel uses some form of Ivermectin, or something, but I'm not sure if there is a withdrawal time for eggs with that.

Filled the AS (Australian Spotted) duck's pool with water today. They sure have a lot of fun in the water!
@Blarneyeggs - install the largest pool you possibly can in the duck pen you are planning. They will splash a lot of water out, leaving very little in the more shallow pans. I used the larger of the 2 plastic mortar pans that Lowes sells and it seems just adequate. The smaller one you will not be very happy with.
