The look like they'll either be mottled black or possibly silver dappled.

I have 2 broody hens. i am let them share a nest. they actually take turns sitting on the nest. can not wait to see if any hatch in about 2 weeks.

All 11 turkey eggs are developing well and are going into lockdown tonight! Oh my! I haven’t even sold any of the first 5, but I think I have a few buyers...

We are incubating Magpie duck eggs for DH's nephew, along with his turkey eggs.
Research says 26-28 days incubation... is there anything I need to do special with humidity?

Plan is to shove them under a hen 2 or 3 days before hatch, if we can get them that far....

No. Duck eggs are fine incubating the same as chicken eggs. Some people swear by misting them daily. Chickens hatch ducklings (and so do turkeys. ) no problem.
