Looking to buy 6 to 12 hens near Knox Pa. Any help in this search would be appreciated.

I don't know anyone close to you, as Onemountainacre said your best bet is Penns woods or craigslist. Laying birds are in high demand right now, we sold 24 in past 2 weeks, all we have left are our older hens, breeders, broodies and a handful of teenagers. Most folks are having to start with rural king and TSC chicks and wait it out for eggs.

I know you didn't forget ... Monday sometime later in day/afternoon would work. Wednesday would be ok too if you are short time for the holiday and work. I can bring you some SPR eggs if you want a couple more Ana's! LOL

I am on a 9 day stretch of 24hrs on, 24hrs off at work. Unfortunately a late call this morning made my shift a 27 hr one instead of 24.... We have 4 full timers off due to Covid exposure so our normal work rotations are out the window.

I'll text you sometime Monday or you text me, doesn't matter lol. I'm off Monday and Tuesday so right now my schedule is pretty open so whatever works for you

Surprisingly, Ana is not my first stubborn broody of the year! But i do have 2 silkie x ameraucana crosses, 2 silkies, and 2 turkeys all sitting. Most are sitting on air lol. These 2 amuse me though. A showgirl and turkey sharing a nest (well, corner of the coop anyway). They have 3 babies so far.

Well if you have broodies sitting they will all be ready for some cute SPR chicks in 3 weeks!

2 more have hatched. So now up to 9 chicks. Looks like 2-3 are pip.

Guess what! My missing roo showed up this morning! DH and the kids caught him and put him in the kennel. I'm extremely impressed he managed to survive the past few days. Not only is he a splash silkie but he was alone in the woods surrounding our house which are filled with fishers, raccoons, possums, owls and hawks. We also had a couple major rain storms plus the temp drop and snow! Wow!

@fisherlady I didn't forget about you. I've Just been slammed the past couple days. If you still want face masks, I can probably have them ready for Monday.

So far I have 14 that have hatched. Would be 15 but 1 dead from being to tried trying to get out. 1 egg is piped.
