Various in-laws are quarantined, including Duckling. I’m unclear on details, so it’s either little chance or a high chance, and they say they are being denied testing despite one being a healthcare worker.

Hopefully they're all fine. I've heard of a few people being denied testing because they're overwhelmed I guess :/

My son was very ill about a month ago. He was tested at a site run by CHOP (His pediatrician is part of the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia network.) That is so strange. My son is a remote learner but his school is running hybrid now and all teachers and students are being tested monthly. They need to be tested, even if asyptomatic.

If I were doing anything with others, I’d do it in an open garage, screen tent or barn. The weather is all over the place for Thursday, but warm enough if you’re protected from the possible rain.

We're doing our normal Thanksgiving. It's the 4 of us together at my parent's house with my grandma and this year, there's a possibility of my 3 cousins coming too since they're all in college in MD/VA and their parents are overseas (not sure how that will work though with crossing state lines)

We are doing a round robin tele-Thanksgiving. At 5 different households (8 people), each household is cooking something. Then we go around and deliver the food to all the others, like a potluck. Finally we will sign onto joint zoom sessions to eat together.

That's an interesting way to pull it off. I love the pot luck food swap :)
