Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

My one brahma rooster came out for about a minute and then went back to the coop. I heard that Sunday will be another big snow event. I rely don't want more feet of snow. I am not that tall lol
I feel I was swming in snow ever time going to my coop. Next week is too cold. I think signle digit is too much for chickens to hanlde, so I get the Sweeter Heater Coop Heater for my chickens and will set it up tomorrow. It doesn't get too hot, so I don't need to worry about coop fire.

Looking for some advice. What's the best way to get rid of an unwanted rooster? I'm thinking of Craigslist. I don't mind if he ends up in someone else's pot, but my kids won't tolerate it happening here.

He's a 9-month-old white leghorn, so I don't know if anyone would want him, or even want to eat him. (At least I think that's what he is. We got him from TSC. He wasn't a pullet as we thought, and I think the breeds were also mislabeled. Not buying chicks there again.) He's handsome and nice with his hens, both chickens and guineas, but he has a bad attitude toward humans that no amount of handling has been able to erase.

Has anyone had luck with Craigslist? Or know any other avenue I should explore?

Even giving away roosters for free, no one was interested. Of course try, and do Penswoods too.
No feed store is reliable for giving accurate breeds or information in general. I was happy when I saw “leghorn pullets” in the bin. I knew they were White Rocks!
Leghorns are really light, and almost scrawny. A White Rock will be wide.

I'd be happy as can be to give him away for free! My alternatives are: (1) Cull him myself and face the children's wrath; (2) Deal with his orneriness for the rest of his natural life.

I'd never heard of Penswood before, and I had to look it up. Thanks.
