Montgomery County,
I have 3 chickens I need to find a good home for. 2 barred rock and 1 olive egger. I hate to get rid of them, but I'm moving into an apartment. These chickens are well taken care of , and are more like dogs as they like to follow me around the yard. I'm located in Souderton Pa, and my contact information is [email protected].
Good luck for finding a new home for your girls.

One chicken in broody jail, and other 4 have to check what’s going on. And the food and water in the cage must be better than those in their coop, so they have to try to get to it through hardware cloth......

This morning I moved 3 hens out of "broody jail", since they seemed to have stopped. By this evening, 2 of them were back in jail and 2 more had to be added. The bantams have not started yet, don't know what's up with these hens.
With that many chickens, how can you tell which is which? I have to look carefully to tell my two Olive eggers apart.

I think the Easter chicks are done being in the house. I was trying to put it off until our last frost tonight, but they have been screaming for two days out of boredom. Having only two chicks, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I’m used to 6-20 some chicks going out as early as 1-2 weeks in the back of the coop. They wanted the heat lamp longer, but I think they are going to be fine staying outside below freezing tonight. The quail pen is still wrapped, and after three hours, they are still active. :woot No more yelling about being bored.

I checked one last time. The chicks are asleep, so I’m going to say, “ :wee :celebrate “ If the quail eggs make it to lockdown, I’ll have them in the house, but that’s a week away.
@OneMountainAcres are the quail chicks big enough to be brooded by the SPR?

I have no idea lol. You could try it and see what happens! I know that if any chicken can raise quail chicks though, it would be a SPR from @fisherlady lol. You would have to take lots of pictures though because that would have to be the most adorable thing ever and I'm sure there would be a very quizzical look on mama hens face!
