How big is the house and run you want to do and how many chickens? Mine free range so I only have the coops for them.
 
Have to share a photo of my newest baby. This is the first one out of my calico project pen and she was hatched 2 days ago over at RoPo's house. She is coming home today and I can barely contain myself!




Cannot wait to love on her!

ETA: Blarney this is what is in the silkie egg you have in your bator.

Very Sweet! I can't wait to meet her.
 
I'm amazed more people don't show up here! Sally, I would get into contact with the Serama club and try to find some members in this area or nearby. Contact them. Seramas can be tricky. They have a stance, most of it is genetic but some of it is also trained. A good Serama breeder will be able to help you out on the training and could possibly get you well started in show birds as well.

Well As i said I am new to chickens so i know I am doing everything wrong. My hen house right now is about 3ft by 3 /12 ft and about 2ft high. The area which they can walk around in is about 10ft by 12ft. I have them under my back porch. which is a deck. i thought it be a good use of space and have them close. I am getting ready to build them a better coop. I only have 4 birds for now.
 
I lost track of my count as who is in the bator vs brooder!!

I have two GOLD Laced Cochin in the bator drying off and another 2 marans
and about 4 more pipping....

So far One death and the one I helped that was deformed : (
