Blarney, our little man is learning how to crow........teehee. I thought one of the cats was sick, but then I realized it was him, and the more I praised him for being a big boy, the more he crowed and looked at me so proud of himself!!! Yay Enrique!!!!!

I already called him and told him she is ready any day he said ok I am on vacation! WHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i always told mine, such and such will have her puppies on this date, don't you dare go on vacation that week just in case i need you for a c section, he would just laugh and say, i'll be here, call me, and believe me i always had to, course, we would stop at the gas station, pick him up a coffee and of course we helped.

What have you offered her?

Try Scrambled Eggs, Yogurt & Oatmeal.. Or what I am doing force feeding water down feed and or Oatmeal and Yogurt..

Side note:
sigh... Ltl. Dave have a Doctors Appointment today at 2:30

I tried even yogurt and she won't eat it! She does drink though, thank god. I am gonna try scrambled eggs, thanks!

Oh no! Hope everything goes well! If the meds I am giving the chickens now end up not working, I probably will take the sickest to the vet to see what the flock has exactly. Do you mind telling me which vet you end up going to/ how much it ends up costing?

The nursing home my DH's aunt is in burned down tonight. A group of teens taking a class next door saw the flames around 7:20, and one ran into the center knocking on doors and carrying people out. Everyone got out, but the roof collapsed, and the place is a loss. I hope someone got the finches out!
I am wondering why we were not called yet. I guess we will be called in the morning. I feel for the people that don't know that their loved ones are okay.
Please take this the right way, but she had an antique stool with her. It was from the early 1800's. I hated bringing it in there. It is just an object though. I will go through her remaining clothes here. Will the insurance cover the cost of new clothes? And where can I find clothing for a 4'8" woman that wears a size 8-10 pants?

Sorry to hear that, glad everyone got out ok!!

I was paying this guy in Bethel $1.50 per chicken. I would drop them off the night before, and he would tell me a time to pick up, and I would go get them in a cooler, and bring them home and wrap them myself. And I know what you mean. The only ones I can remotely stand to do are ones that bite me. LOL!!!
That isn't bad at all!!

Lisa, I got hatching eggs from Blarney and they are just the most awesome chicks ever!!! Go see her!!!
thank you all ! I will go to see her! This is such a great group!
