Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

i have three horses, mini's , a stallion, two mares, three cows that is until freezer time for the one, two dogs, many, many chickens, one little mini lop rabbit that runs where ever he wants, altho usually he stays with one bunch of chickens or the other, he has his choice, a potbelly sow , barn cats, we did have the hair sheep, so if we ever decide to get sheep again, it will be hair sheep
you could change over to be a vet.

Maybe, but I don't think I can do it. I don't understand vets-- they can't ask their patients about their symptoms, it must be so hard!

I wanted to be a vet...but didn't quite turn out that way...Hairdresser...go figure..

There are pros and cons to EVERY profession. I have the brains for med school and I love science, but I sit here ripping my hair out because I do not know if it is right for the life I want (aka no time for future kids/ animals).

My field smells like Schmidt! Neighbor is cleaning out his barn and guess where some of it goes? I should have very healthy weeds. (yes, he has my permission, kind of how we get along out here)

Everywhere around me smells like that

, between the MANY cows down the road, all chicken houses around me & all the fields that have been fertilized on and off - took a lil bit for this city girl to get used to lol now I am used to it and my hubby isn't

I have one white rock that runs when it's time to go in for the night. Tonight with the storms she was almost left out. It took 3 different times and dh helping me to finally get her to go in.

The hubby started making room for my new coop. I want to keep the old one for a back up but he wants it gone. I'm thinking about putti g it on Craigslist. Someone might be willing to pay a few bucks for it.

This is the part of the yard that building materials come to die. A perk of being married to a carpenter.......or something like that. Lol.

The little ones are now living in the garage. Dh said the house was starting to smell like a barn :p they got to enjoy some time outside while I cleaned the brooder. The black one is a Cochin serama mix and the yellow is a d'uccle. Does that look right?

My peeps, how much would you sell that coop for if you decide to sell it? I'm a little on the broke side of life right now but maybe for the right price I could scrape something up. Don't let it die in the carpenters graveyard! It's a lot better than any of mine.
