Thanks every one.... It has been hard but we know we did the right thing for her. She will be waiting at the rainbow bridge like stgmom52 said. Sorry to hear about your kitty also. I can't imagine having a kitty get a 4" stick jammed down its throat, how horrible that must have been! I am also sorry to hear about every one else losses recently. Hopefully it will all take a break for a while and let us recover from it all....

I just got back from my SIL undercover wear party. Out of all the stuff I could get I buy tea tree oil for my chickens. This is how I know my life will never be the same. Lol

I know tea tree oil has a lot of uses. What do you use it for with the chickens?

I wanted to remind everybody that the Lebanon Fair is Saturday-Thursday or Friday. Open poultry show is Saturday, youth is Sunday. Hope some of you guys can make it!

Yeah you guys are a couple of hours away, I think. Are you near Reading or State College? I think there are 2 towns with that name in PA!

How creepy is this, I let the dog off her chain out the front about an hour ago to bring her inside. Just got up to have a smoke and let her out to pee - there is now a fast food drink cup on the gravel near the porch

it wasn't there when I brought her inside earlier as I would have seen it - would have had to have walked right by it.

It couldn't have been thrown from a car going past as hubbys second work van would have been in the way and totally blocked it from any direction it could have been thrown, it hasn't been windy either so it didn't blow in - just did a window and door check and found one of the sliding glass doors unlocked that I locked earlier

Good thing our internal doors have locks and chains on them. Think i'll be sleeping with the tazer, knife and the key alarm for the car!!!
