Anyone looking for some carhart coveralls?? We went to the local-ish TSC today in selinsgrove and they had 2 black ones on clearance, from $170 to $30 I think it was - hubby already has 2 lots of carhart coveralls for winter so his workmate snatched up one of the two on sale. Might want to go have a look at your local TSC

Talk about a bargain & if it wasn't for me insisting we go there, he never would have got them!!!

I forgot to post this yesterday, it cracked me up when I walked out to see it. Poor girls looked like they were waiting for a ride somewhere

I have a question for you chicken experts. One of my chicks has very wobbly and unstable legs, and looks drunk when she walks. She is on the same feed as the others, and was on straw from day one. She is the smallest of the bunch but is feathering as fast as the rest, and is a Buttercup. Any ideas? I already lost one a few days after I got them to a birth defect, I really would rather not lose this guy too. I took a video also (she is isolated from the rest, they literally walk all over her). I would skip to twenty seconds in.

It sounds like you need to give some b vitamins. It should work in a couple of hours. You can take a tablet, and let it melt in some water, then to get it into the chick fast use a syringe. You would see a difference in a couple of hours, if the chick is vitamin deficiant. Another option is save-a-chick in the water, and give the chick a couple of drops of Nutri-Drench. It is full of b-vitamins. Also give plain, non-fat yogurt. Keep checking for hard stools and pastey butt. If stool are loose give corrid in the water. There is a preventative dose on the package, unless you are already giving medicated feed. Hope this helps!

Lisa, glad you finally got your girls!!

Danielle, I hope your little ones turn out to be ok!!

Had Katy (birdbygavin) & Gavin over yesterday, had a good day/night filled with lots of laughs & they boys had a ball playing together!

Might go to one of the local state parks today to have a walk around & take some pics.

Hope everyone has a good day now that the rain has passed!

I'll need to see if they have any kid's sizes at ours. Gavin's gonna need a new snowsuit this year, he finally outgrew his.

Cute pic, worst part is the second the boys laid a hand on that truck, the girls were off in another direction lol. I wouldn't be surprised if you said the girls were peaking out to be sure the boys weren't waiting for them to leave the coop this morning lol.
