I am getting chick envy! They are so cute!

The neighbor took a bunch of eggs from me (mostly BCM) to hatch. She says they are due in a week. I want them to hatch, but I don't. They will not be well cared for, but I was tired of telling her no to any of my flock or hatching eggs. These were eggs from when my flock was wormed. They were just laying there on the ground, and she asked if she could incubate them. Now I have to stay strong when/if she shows me the new babies. Cute. Adorable. Gotta Haveable. Babies.

Forget who asked,,,but the sides of the coops are done in large sheets that are the size of plywood but thin and heavy, they come with a sealer already on them, just add paint...home depot, I think,,,,can find the latest bill for the name if anyone needs it.

Not sure if both coops show in the pics but the little one was done 4 years ago and still looks good

I am letting my broodies in the bantam chocolate Orp pen have all the eggs being laid in there. Well... for now. Until they can't cover them. I am actually hoping everyone in there goes broody. That way I have a pen full of broodies and no eggs to worry about collecting at all for at least 2 months.

That's what I'm doing with the ones hatching... I figure they know what they're doing better than I will, and if the chicks grow up with momma outside I won't have to worry about them adjusting to the cold when they're fully feathered.

Forget who asked,,,but the sides of the coops are done in large sheets that are the size of plywood but thin and heavy, they come with a sealer already on them, just add paint...home depot, I think,,,,can find the latest bill for the name if anyone needs it.

Reyvaughn, I think you'll get a kick outta this. Nettie has been trying to follow us into the house all the time. Well yesterday Gavin decided to let her in while I was in the shower. I step outta the shower and she's just standing there in front of me staring, baas at me and trots outta the room...took me a bit to realise what the h*** had just happened. I'm sure the look on my face would've been priceless...poor girl probably had nightmares last night.

he said he was redoing the back wall of the coop and fixing the window....
..IN REALITY.......that big orange thing he calls a generator is a new toy he was playing with
