I assume they've checked him for Crohn's? Other than that I'd have no clue. Hopefully he feels better soon, and they figure out what's wrong.
Gotta love blanket diagnosis like that, thank goodness they don't have many of them anymore. I was reading about hysteria and everything it covered 100+ years ago, nearly anything wrong with a woman.

My son had alot of blod wwork and had scopes done. All came back normal. That was before his surgery. Things haven't changed that much. A friend of mine is having problems with her daughter with stomach pains and the ER dr told her she is ovulating!

My friend had her gall bladder out in June and has been having similar problems. She has been to several doctors and they keep running different tests. She is scheduled for another one where they put the tube down your throat. I can't remember what it's called. I'm so sorry your son is going through this. Keep push1ing and go from dr. To dr. If you aren't getting the right answers. Best of luck.

Has your friend asked her doctor about bile reflux? My son has that now because of his lack of a gallbladder. His Gi doctor didn't look at that option, my friend told me to tell his doctor about bile reflux. He couldn't eat or drink anything without vomitting because of all the bile.

We put our boat away last week, Erie is done for the year.... the lake is averaging 3 to 4 footers much of the time and no fun going out in that. River fishing for cats is still on the table if weather permits, but right now most days off have been spent gathering, splitting and stacking firewood. We heat with a cast iron pot belly stove, so it keeps us busy!

Funny, I also heat 80% of my house with an insert....I already have 5+ cords ready to go...

I try to shuffle mine all at the same time, if I'm selling some, I move the up and coming bunch into the coop I'm selling from on the same night. That way the shake up can work itself out all at once.

Stake, I still haven't started my cider, been too busy to get into Downingtown, I think tomorrow is the day.

Stop by, I have some ready to go!

these recent posts have got me thinking......................my girls seem to be getting along sooo nicely..............why would I want to mess with that?

I the late winter / spring I am planning on getting chicks................maybe keep them separate for longer than I intended? why rock the boat so to speak? not sure..............all this drama with a bunch of girls co-habituating! sheesh.................

my troubles are just a PIA because I have an affinity for the girl(s) being picked on...and she's missing alot of feathers...and the marans are just acting like adolescent girls which they are....more birds keeps things interesting too....

I have Broody Banty who is now on her 3rd batch this year, its now really cold at night should I put a light next to her box to help heat her area or do you think she can through enough heat off for the chicks when they hatch? She's such a good mom...really hate to see her lose any chicks.

I have three 1 week chicks that mom is taking out for field trips everyday....when they get chilled, she just lays down and they crawl under for a nap...I too thought it'd be too cold...but I guess not...
