welcome danielle, hope you or your husband can make one of those, it does look easy, course not for me, tools aren't my thing, i can tear it apart to clean, but bill has to put it back together for me lol
well..that is the problem. is does look easy enough, but then someone has to use it (the tool)

...we BOTH have "issues".The tool is cool though! .....we saw another article and the guy just uses a "saw-zaw" to go through the nails..done in like ..3mins!!!...you can keep the nails in or pop them out with a hole-punch or nail set...even another nail would work...but we were thinking to just leave the nails in. The wood is going to be painted then with exterior, so it will be around for a little while anyway. If we would have to replace anything..just use another piece of pallet! ..Thank you Sharron..really appreciate it!!

The pallet tool.

that is cool!!! he did a great job showing how to use it too....DH & i just watched...I know we can NOT do the hammer/pry bar method..no-way!...the one sharron showed us was cool too, wish he would have shown how he used his...i think the "idea" is still the same. What it all comes down to is finding the least 'physical' way for this to be done...that is what we're after! -Thank you for all the links/sites...so many ideas!!!!! -Danielle

I don't see why the chickens couldn't eat the dog food. If it's sloppy wet, I'd probably mix it with some of their dry food and serve it in a shallow dish. It would probably make some terribly stinky fermented feed.
