I'm not gonna win any photography awards, am I? He looked really good with the sun hitting him, but it washed out the photo.

He is 100% silkie, but the barring gene dilutes the melanin in his comb and wattles along with the feathers.

I think its a cool pic! DD Harmony wants to add two tiny silkie hens to her serama pen, but I am having major issues finding any because of our testing this is such a pain in the butt

Saw this and my eyes started to well up. Dang! This weather is really getting to me. We are have a 6 hour car drive on Thursday....how is this going to work!?

Please tell me that isn't for the storm coming up this Wednesday into Thursday. Our local station isn't giving any numbers but says we're going to get snow mixed with freezing rain and icing, and more people are going to lose power. We're in the red. Can anyone remember a worse winter? I remember some bad individual storms but this winter has been one storm after another with no break in between or time for melting.

The 93-94 winter. It snowed every Thursday by 6:30.

Unfortunately that is the prediction for now of the storm of this week. I too want it all to go away. This winter has been horrible!
