Only one casualty which is sad but a lot better than I was expecting. I'll post some pictures if anyone is interested:)
Glad to hear most made it safe and sound. And I'd loooove to see pics. Who doesn't love baby pics? Especially of chicks. ^_^

Ugh, I did it again. My second hatch this year was a bust and only one hatched. So I just have a single day old bantam chick. The first one I hatched over a month ago, is too old to put the new chick with. Plus he has girlfriends now lol. He was also hatched alone. So does anyone have any day old chicks nearby? York and Harrisburg area? I'm just looking for 1 or 2. Preferably bantam.

just got done feeding and reinforcing for the storm,,,,

not sure how many of you are old enough to know this one but I changed the radio station in the barn because they were playing riding the storm out and it was depressing,,,the station I changed to played the same song five minutes later..........should I take that as an omen...

dress warm, it is cold out there...

Blarney, do you got that sled ready yet, you may need it...

If I don't go to work tomorrow and you need duckling retrieval, I may try to help (assuming I can get to town). I far prefer the country roads than the highway in a storm.

Quote: talked to the mail carrier, he said he will meet me at turkey hill tomorrow with them if I can not get out,,,,,he will not come back into the cul de sac though, pretty bad when the mailman knows that they never plow your street...guess if it comes to it I can walk the couple blocks top turkey hill...
