Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

You can't make this stuff up....it just boggles my mind.....

and, another snow storm possible on Tuesday,,,,,,

It is mind boggling how these states/special interest groups really think it will be ok to just continue dumping waste because it is convenient (and cheaper) for them to do it!?!?! Special interest groups should not be allowed to spend money in government.. What part of 'paying the piper' don't they understand? There is no way big business can be left unsupervised or they would totally destroy the environment if it means more cash for their Boards of Directors. (anyone have an un reclaimed strip mine in their backyard???) I am not a 'tree hugger' and realize that good intentions sometimes can go to the extreme side... but to try to end environmental oversight and protection is just asinine and it is the common person who ends up suffering for it... because I can guarantee the CEO's of the polluting companies won't be drinking the water.

And who has their head in the sand so deep that they don't think damage to the waterways and oceans won't cause a trickle down effect that comes back to haunt us???

Just a few recent pictures...

Gracie and 2 of her babies from the December hatch, she left them weeks ago, but now they often sit in a row on the boards and she treats them like flock mates.
Notice some family resemblance??? LOL... and BTW... we have no white roosters, so apparently her genetics are a bit strong!

Hardrock, Coco and Jo... at about 8 weeks (anyone know the old TV Christmas commercial?)

DH likes Jo's feather duster of a tail...

just a few girls chilling on their ledge

hanging out around the water cooler...

dusting party anyone?

checking out a newly added shelf...

Wow, a jungle gym for chooks....

Getting ready to head down to State College for the Penn State Ladies Basketball game @1. Hopefully the roads are a little better there then up here in Northeast, PA.

Had a 10 year old sleep over last night, and as is our practice, helping with chores this morning. Here's one I haven't heard before, 'I want to live on a farm when I grow up. I just don't want to have to go outside'. ahhhhh, yeah. Let me know how that works out for ya.

My Lily Love cheesing at me. We keep getting snow and they'll be able to step right over the fence.

She is pretty! I want goats but hubby says no. I need more land and maybe then I will get my goats.

I have plans to set up for rabbits this spring, nothing large scale, just enough for us and family and maybe sell a few...

well hubby surprised me today with plans of his own,,,,,this man wants to raise fish to eat, I better start some research, is this even a possibility, he insist it is............I never even had a goldfish let alone big fish.....but he does have a point, we eat fish atleast twice a week.... can you tell,,,I think he is nuts..
