Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

I feel your pain on the vehicles... with tow vehicles needed for us we had 2 large vehicles and fuel costs were horrible. I finally crunched some numbers and realized that with only 2 of us at home we could get a small 'run around' vehicle for only an extra 200 or so a year on the insurance. We saved over 200/month on fuel for most of the year, so the fuel savings darn near paid the car payment and the reduced wear and tear on the 4 wheel drive vehicles meant decrease in expensive tires and upkeep... so basically, the 3rd vehicle ended up not really costing us any more and having it available means if one vehicle is in the garage for maintenance then you don't need to borrow or rent a car or beg rides for work. Our car ireat s an Chevy HHR... tons of cargo space and really good on gas... Love it!

LittleMissPurdy, I'm going to our Walmart tomorrow. You going to be around?
hey..sorry getting back on here so late..geesh...No, not tomorrow. We will run into each other one of these days!

Hello & Welcome!!

...Wyandottes are nice, very cold hardy, lots of personality too! They lay a cream to tan colored eggs. Their combs are close set, so frost bite is not too much of an issue. Just my thoughts, although I am a bit bias..haha

It's beautiful out! So gorgeous! Already went to the flea market, poor turnout, but I'm hoping tomorrow will be better! I just want to run around in the sunshine! Can't wait to walk the dog in this weather. Anyone else excited? I don't care (well maybe kinda) of we get three feet of snow next week, so long as we have this lovely weekend break.

I take that back, I do care if we get 3 feet next week because...... My chickies are coming!!!!:weee

Hi! I'm already signed up for 4 wyandottes but I'm looking for easter eggers, ameraucanas, barred rocks, welsummers, marans, or any large breed that lays a lot of large eggs, that free ranges well, and is docile enough to be handled (got kids lol)
If you don't mind a little drive to Center Co...near bellefonte-state college..".PeakyBeaky" has awesome Wyandottes!! She breeds them. I recieved all my Wyandotte girls from her, and they are wonderful! Very true to SOP...so if you get into Showing, you have kids..would be fun for 4-H...hahaha, I am selling it hard huh?! ... well there you have it!

I am not sure how far we are north berks a tad west on I78 from Cabelas our FB page is in my signature box below posts

I swear our vehicles are the single most bank account draining thing we own,,,we repair them more often than our house, and then just normal operating cost.

Unfortunately with critters we need to keep bigger vehicles on the road, a small compact car just will not do...

I also had a major breakdown in the house,,,,,but no where near as costly as the vehicle..

what broke in the house! or did you have a breakdown
