this little one is a permanent broody, she just doesn't give up, she is just to small to set on many eggs

4.... great nest boxes! I really like those! and yep, nests seem to stay nice for about 2 minutes... and half the time it is a rooster who is messing it up in the process of showing the hens what a wonderful nest he found for them!
5... the girls are gossiping around the water cooler...

We went to MButerbaugh's and got to see our rooster we sold her last year for her flock, he sure turned out to be a beauty... and we got some hatching eggs from her to give to Gracie.... who is broody yet again!
