ours doesnt look like either of the types

Do you know the pool make? Model? That should help narrow down the search.
I cant find a single name or letters on the pool anywhere, its a good strong pool its old and its still in great shape.

the top of the liner has a thin rope like of rubber that goes into a groove, I will assume I need to go cut a piece off, I didnt want to destroy it if I cant replace it though.

I could work that out, but really it would not be worth the drive to anyone for just one little hen,   how about a crate sale for everyone....

now you went and turned that enabling button on..:duc

Hahaha! Queen of enablers here! (Ask Blarney!! ;) )
Seriously tho, I just have a thing for " splash" colored birds. Would take her cause of that. (if no one else claims her, PM me.)

yeah i didnt see or dont see the picture where is it at?
Nevermind i saw it hahah.....most of the time companys will come out and give you a free estimate on replacing it....I know this is kind of shady but we had to replace our in ground last year.....and i called around and when they were they I asked a TON of questions to get answers on the different things like what kind of liner is this and how they do it and stuff like that.......I got quotes anywhere from 3000 to 8000 to do it....Finally we had someone order it for us and put it in...it cost us 2000 after water and the liner...

Sally-----I would say----talk to a different pool store guy ----------even on the phone etc if you have free shipping.............there are pool stores near me and online that would surely want your business.

Obviously your pool store guy was not equipped.
