What an awesome find! AUGH I'll have to keep my eye out for one now! xD too cool
my barn kitty had her first litter (5) in september. She was incredibly inept as well. Sorry for your struggles and I hope it all goes better. ^^ They sound adorable
Thanks!! It is pretty cool...They are around, I usually see them as bowls..not baskets though.
I want one!! Can you take another pic of the underside when it is expanded and collapsed? I am interested in how it is jointed...

I will get a pic of the underside. The 'accordion' part is actually one-piece of wood..look at the pic as it sits flat, you can see where they started the cut..then just went around, and around ... Then they made the handle and base for the handle. I probably just made myself sound soo duh-right there..hahahaha oh well, you all know anyway!

I thought literally the exact same thing!! I was like, "Barn? EMPTY?"
Not that you care, but I got my first beetle about 2 weeks ago. It was all deformed so I just fed it to my hen. Then a BUNCH of others have hatched since then, and we'll have baby worms any time now!

Mealworm farming is really interesting.
Congrats on your worm-farming!!

I read about how hard it is to wait for them to do their thing!
Also my last name.

..!!!...

Here you go FisherL..
Open-bottom view..

getting to laying position...handle swings off of bottom 'cross' piece..

Handle is attached by a 'pin' on either side...and swings freely of the base..

Bottom when in the flat position...see how it was cut from one-piece of wood...they started on the right side, then continued out & around, keeping the 'bands' - the same thickness.
Hope this helps. Good luck if your making one!! You will probably have a few other who would like one too!

Quote: Okay, in English DH wants to go to Rolling Thunder. That is a motorcycle thing in D.C. on Memorial weekend. I have had fish, dogs, chicks, chickens, beer and cake on the bike. Why not pigs?
I am going to Stake's in a pick-up, and will have a motorcycle trailer (no motorcycle, but I may steal Stake's boat). If the chickens were on the way, they could ride inside the truck. If they want to be in my jacket, that is their choice.
Un-confused now?

I know this post is something separate but I drive to DC for work every 4 days. I just moved to York county so if that is somewhat close I could probably work something out with you. only thing is that I leave for work at 3:00 in the morning. PM me if you have any questions or would like and try to work something out.

I had to do that run for a few months...once a week....needed to leave DC by 3:00p or you are sunk....can't avoid Baltimore traffic one way or the other, and if you're timing isn't good you get Wilmington DE too....130 miles of BS.....10lbs in a 5lbs bag.....

On a different note, was talking to Blarney around dinner time when my pooch went nuts...looked out the front window and there's a fox trotting down the street...well, cut Denny loose after him...all chooks accounted for and never knew the fox was that close...and I heard the barking and chasing circle the neighborhood and off into the woods....about an hour later whistled Denny back....food must be hard to come by for a fox to be out in the open like that.....

Glad he was able to sound the alarm before anything happened. Love having a good dog around!

Yeah going in at 3 AM isn't too bad but coming home(I get off at 7 AM the next day) is usually a pain but only doing it every couple days makes it tolerable.
