Pennsylvania!! Unite!!

Ironically, our landlords are our "neighbors" (we live in a duplex even lol) so it's hilarious you say that! The husband mosies on over every other day to check our progress, I think he's excited and knows his side doesn't have the space for them. He was the same way when I started my veggie garden last year hehe! He knows which side of his bread is buttered... by his suburban homesteading next door neighbor tenant! Fresh organic veggies and now fresh organic eggs

I am thinking the sale would start round 9, since that's when The Dragon opens on Fridays?! I can't wait to meet some fellow BYCers. Do I get a discount if I mention this thread?! J/k... but that should be a thing ya know

Be warned. We are " neighborly", the new term for enablers. I started wanting 8, currently have, I have no idea. Since extra roosters and chicks that are for sale don't count, maybe 25? For those who don't count chicken math, maybe 60? Seems to change daily, OK, at least weekly.

Lots of great people here. I think some will be at the dragon today. They'll be the ones bringing birds to sell and going home with more than they brought.

Why are you up so early???

You making me look bad, us night shifters need to sleep in a little.

Omg! I am dying! The dog just went down to the turkey pen, looked at the BBW, and woofed at them as if to say, "you may be bigger than me now, but I knew you when you were the size of my paw!" They are seriously twice his size! So funny!

How old did you say those bobwhite were when they started laying, I plan to keep the pair of Tennessee red since I can not find any more at a reasonable price, I am gonna hatch from this pair if they ever stat to lay... they are 5 months and no eggs yet.

It's good that your Landlord wants you to have chickens. The sale starts at !0 o'clock with miscellaneous items such as cages, feeders, wire, waters, etc..... after these things are sold they start with the poultry.

Is the sale over? Or did you just drop them off for the sale? I will be heart broken if I missed it... and I was even up at 6 daggit!
Sale starts at 10 o'clock with miscellaneous items.
Is it like that for all auctions?
On a usual Friday evening you can take your poultry in your own cages and on the ticket just write "no cage" and they allow you to take your cage back home. Today the cage goes with the poultry in it, it just makes it easier.

I took 46 head of chickens to sell. I probably won't come home with that many.
