anyone from Allegheny County PA or more specifically the Penn Hills area, I need help they are making me get rid of my ducks

I'm in Allegheny county. I am so sorry about your ducks. Did a neighbor turn you in for having them?

I just received a citation for having 4 ducks, can you offer any help I am going to appeal, they tell me I have to remove my ducks within 5 days or I will be fine $1000.00 per day

Throughout the winter even before I had the ducks, my dogs were going crazy sniffing at something under my front porch. Turns out there were some rats and I guess its babies. When I finally figure out or saw what they were trying to get I started the process of killing these rats, there were 2 big one and 3 smaller rats. Needless to say one of the rats died under my neighbors car. So my neighbor is saying that the rat was on her property because of my ducks.

I keep my property very clean, I've had 3 dogs for the last 5 years and I clean up everyday, I even have a nice playhouse that I use as my duck house.

I wish I could take them but there is no way hubby would allow it. The coop is full and I know he would be afraid they would get in the pool. Join the Facebook group pittsburgh backyard chickens and bees. Lots of locals who might be able to help.

that is a lot of bags...glad you don't have the mud, but just a concerning word...be-careful with the "bagged" mulch..sometimes the mulch was made with "sprayed" trees/verge....always check the bags for their source if you can. I wouldn't want any birds to be exposed to potential hazards. JMO...

I am harvesting the leaf lettuce faster than I wanted to, I hate slugs!!! ...I am using a "natural" spry for bugs this year..still have to be careful because the pollinators don't like this stuff either, but when you have to ..you have to.:/ ...it is just epsom salt & water, but let me tell ya, it DOES work!! Even putting it on my roses

a tip on the slugs . I haven't tried it yet but will be soon. I read somewhere that if you take a tuna can and bury it so that it's level with the ground and fill it with beer. It'll attract slugs. Supposedly they crawl in and die. Good luck!

I am so sorry to hear of your situation..some individuals really do not have a clue...ignorance often leads to animosity.. hurt feelings..I hope there is someway,you can resolve this situation without losing your animals/paying fines and keeping good relations with your neighbors.....is there anyway to 'talk' to them...explain things..inform them of the truth of the matter?...I do understand that sometimes ..this is not at all possible..I hope that things can be settled nicely for you.
