....we were at the Kmart in Lock Haven....then McDonalds for coffee, then home.
I didn't shop..I was along for support & g-baby tending

...We did our "shopping" this past spring..YARD SALES..and everyone gets a "goodie" bag w/ home canned foods and little baked things.
We like giving those to friends and family...since becoming sick, and not having the business anymore...funds just do not exists. It is all good though..would never be experiencing this type of living & self purpose. It really does change your view of importance's in life.

Thanks, got it, I am now listening to the wonderful pinging sound of rooster in a jar.
 
I've had free range turkey before from our Growers Market. It tasted NOTHING like we had last night. This turkey was amazing - although only a 32AA. ;). And the dark meat was so dark, it looked like beef. YUM! I swore we would never raise turkeys again, but now I know this is something we need to do every year.

Pictures leave a lot out..or at least my camera does..how pretty things really are. The turkey is small, but not as 'pale' as it looks in this photo..it did have a better color..anyway, it was so juicy..even though those legs look , ummm, shrunk, they were great!..hahaha




 
Bouncing through Pennsylvania drinking coffee and reading all of your posts.
We picked up a dairy load in Buffalo Sunday and delivered it in Ohio. We got stuck for more than two days, and we were a few miles from one of my sisters and ten from my mother. I put on my big girl panties and spent Thanksgiving with family despite the tension.
My reward was going through my one sister's purses. She wouldn't let me have any of her Coach purses. Mean sister!!
I got through my house Monday. The coops and pens look so empty!! Unfortunately, some clothes got left in the dryer. Walmart, here I come!
Headed back to N.Y. Oceanside. It's a few miles from Long Island. I am hoping for some iced tea! :-D
Hope everyone gets everything worked out!

Quiet thanksgiving. Meal with my brother and sister in law. Nephews family couldn't make it, sick kiddo.

Spent black Friday at work, came home for ten hours then went back in for twelve more. Rest of my week is repeat, repeat, repeat. Stupid work has me changing hours a couple times a week.

Yeah, I rant like wingstone (I'm scared, wingstone is in my dictionary)

Critters get feed and water and I'm off to bed every afternoon. My poor dog feels neglected.

I think I'll spend Christmas alone with a bottle of wine. To much work between now and then, everyone had vacations over the holidays.

I think I'm tired, I better head of to bed.
