Looking for a farm close to Scranton PA that might need some help and can maybe let me keep a few birds with them. I am a city bound college kid that really wants to be around ducks and chickens. Please message me!

Well it worked. I demonstrated how the nipple water worked in front of the chicks by tapping it and they began to use them but i noticed not much water was coming out. I suspected an airlock so I put a small pin hole in the top of the bottle and BAM! They all began to eventually peck at the nipple and get drinks. Shortly they all joined in except my two little bantam mottled cochins. Amazing, the power of positive reinforcement . I'm sure the banties will get it soon. Thanks to everyone for the advice.
Basically, people would pay to have me raise their meat chickens for them. They would "buy" the chick upfront and a small payment for feed ($5). Then when the bird is ready to slaughter they pay for the rest of the feed and take their birds to be processed. There are several Amish in the area who process for $2 a bird - so I do not process myself. I usually barter for my processing. They keep 1 bird out of every 5. This gets around NYS regs legally.
We lost a bunny... maybe 3. Went out to fill the waters this afternoon and almost all of the straw was out of the nest. One was completely unresponsive and stiff, two others were barely responsive. The other 3 seemed okay. I removed them all from the nest box and filled it back up with straw, put the 3 back in and tried to warm up the other two in my hands a little. I debated bringing them inside to warm up, but figured they'd be better off with their siblings and momma (maybe she'd hop in to warm them up and feed them?). Heading out to 4H now so I won't be able to check on them until tomorrow.
I'm out by Honesdale. If that's not too far, send me a PM.Looking for a farm close to Scranton PA that might need some help and can maybe let me keep a few birds with them. I am a city bound college kid that really wants to be around ducks and chickens. Please message me!
These are our American Blue meat rabbits... not the playground bunnies from the other day. I checked on them right before we left for 4H, mom was out but I did see some movement in there without even poking around. We'll see in the morning whether the two weak ones make it through the night.
Should I be worried about my poults and chicks tonight since it's supposed to get down to 28? Both have a tarp for wind/rain protection but no real shelter from the cold.
Turkeys are 7-8 weeks old
Chicks are about 6 weeks old (meaties & heritage)

I just put 101 out of 111 into lockdown that got down to 70 for a few hours
Wow...100 chicks at once...and 90% fertilty....I am on my third small hatch (12 eggs) I only have six positives and 2 maybes going....a question, do lower ranking chooks get covered less?
On another note two thunderstorms have already blown through...its taken a while but the girls are finally learning to hide under the main coop....
