I have empty bator and hatcher, I can plug them back in and hatch for you, you would need to let me know what all records to keep and you would need an outletfor the chicks after hatch,
Curious if you are opening the unhatched eggs to see if others are albino and not making it to hatch

I also have a broody right now

Need numbers from those wanting chicken ( Anne )
Chicken should be around memorial day, this batch is growing slower, May be due to the weather. $2 a pound cleaned and bagged ( not freezer bags, you will need to repack )
Duck around 4th of July, most likely $3 a pound, same packaging
Rabbit around mid June at $15 a piece, discounts for larger orders.

Sorry about the bags but most people who I questioned would rather I keep the cost down even if they have to do a little of the work.
Either pm me or find me on facebook

Will let you know soon. Thanks!

Chester County here.

Welcome! Bucks county here.

Who keeps a single Roo in West Philadelphia (not a very nice area)?! Do you think this guy is a survivor from cock fighting?

My Bator holds 120 and I've got three hatchers if I need them. But I will keep you in mind!

I'm hoping for a bit of variety for the kids. I am going to lend an incubator so she doesn't have to worry about that too. I will be driving to West Chester/Wayne area near May 8th, so if that works for anyone let me know;) I requested those breeds because I'd like to add those, but I'm flexible. Please let me know how much you are asking for fertile eggs, also. Thank you

So, just out of curiosity, is albinism the result of genes between two specific parents or is it just a fluke?  I guess I'm asking if all of the chicks would be albino.

I don't know genetics, but from what I understand, if both colored parents carry the gene, there is a 1 in 4 chance of the offspring being albino. It's all accidental at this point. Chippysmom327 and I both googled it and there is very little information about albino chickens, hence her thread chronicling her experience. She told me about them when they hatched, I didn't believe her. Now she has a thread. I joined to provide flock background to those that understand genetics. They are her birds to baby!

They rarely live due to health problems and blindness. That's what makes chippysmom327 story interesting.

Thanks for posting that link here! I didn't want to boast or promote myself...

Why not? It doesn't seem anyone gets them to that age!

Mine is still in the incubator, but moving around well.

Looking back, I had a broody in that pen hatch three last year, one was very light and didn't seem to keep up. I'm very hands off, so when it died I just composted it without looking closely. I think that might have been number one as I look back on it now.
