That's crazy! :(

I've gotten 0 eggs the past week, only 1 of my girls is laying (the rest are broody, I only have 3 though) and she's hiding them somewhere

that's exactly what i thought to them having no idea. I would like to make fresh homemade custard. I'm getting ritas tonight because all i get is gelatis from there before there out

Could anyone recommend a good breeder in PA for good quality heritage Cornish (any color), Silver Penciled Plymouth Rocks and Ameraucanas? I'm also interested in chocolate, blue or splash Orpingtons and blue or splash Marans (deep chocolate eggs). I'm also interested in a LF chocolate silver/or cream duckwing cockerel (no specific breed, it's for a project)

I may have to wait for next year, but want to know where to go when I can.

Thanks ahead of time,
Brenna

You need to talk to fisherlady.....for the penciled....

Wow...no kidding...talk about a wacky Wednesday......here's hoping the rest of the day goes better, missing turkeys come home, little fishes get detoxed, cats find out what happens when you mess with someone's chickens & tomorrow is a better day!!!  :fl

Yay! My Marans chick is still alive! It must have been hiding really well. No if only it would be a pullet!

:weee :fl for it to be a pullet! Now we just need the turkey to come home and the little fishes to get better! :fl
Well I looked at my chick up close when I closed up the coop tonight. It was attacked, badly. :hit. It had exposed flesh on its tail, right at the base where the tail feathers start. Poor thing. Brought it in the house to put some peroxide on it, and I see it has puncture marks under each wing. The little thing was scrappy and still putting up a fight to me doctoring it. On one side, the skin had closed but was puffing up, is there anything I can do? I just tried to douse it in peroxide and put it back in the coop. I hope it pulls through. That $&@# cat. I tried knocking on my neighbors door twice, but I don't think she can hear the door.
have not been hatching or getting any new birds lately... but i did get some new babies today
Congrats!
