Well, all of my chickens and ducks are locked into the run now. I feel bad that they have to stay in the mud, but it is what it is. At least the mud isn't that bad.

Oh and my cat is leaving me half eaten dead mice all over! Another sign of spring is in the air lol
Your cat must really love you . . .

Over the winter, my turkeys got out when I left the door open.

Two of my br hens disappeared, I got the other two hens, the room and a pair of royal palms that had been wandering the property back in eventually.

There are still give wild type wandering the property.

Yesterday I found a pile of feathers in my field when I was out planting trees. Guess I know what happened.

Does it mean that my cat loves me even more by leaving me several dead bodies without any part missing?
By the way, after getting teeth brushed and a bath for doing that, she got the idea that I didn't like it, so she decided to deliver me one alive mouse instead!

She trusts you enough to leave a live mouse? Aren't you lucky, she considers you fully trained now and capable of killing your own mice.

Of course, she still believes you need help finding them.

Actually, she was quite disappointed after seeing me jumping on a chair and screaming.

So she took the mouse and killed it. I guess she knows that I can never become a good mouse hunter.

Actually, yes. They are gifts. Cats don't have credit cards to buy you jewelry.

Besides, their wallets are to small to hold them

Our little calico must think we are awesome hunters then.... she rarely brings in dead critters, they just aren't enough fun... but she brings us live flying squirrels, chipmunks, mice, rabbits, bats, snakes and even two mink. Picture her dropping latest gift in middle of living room and creating immediate circus with 2 dogs and 2 or 3 other cats all chasing it around the house until we can recapture it!

And of course while the madhouse is going on little Tanc is sitting on a chair cleaning up her paws....
