I would more than happy to offer her my credit card or buy her jewelry if I don't need to give bath to a very angry cat on midnight or step on her new "stuffed toy" on my kitchen floor.

Our little calico must think we are awesome hunters then.... she rarely brings in dead critters, they just aren't enough fun... but she brings us live flying squirrels, chipmunks, mice, rabbits, bats, snakes and even two mink. Picture her dropping latest gift in middle of living room and creating immediate circus with 2 dogs and 2 or 3 other cats all chasing it around the house until we can recapture it!

And of course while the madhouse is going on little Tanc is sitting on a chair cleaning up her paws....

I consider myself to be lucky that she doesn't trust my hunting skills.

Picked up some supplies to fix the roof on the chicken coop, put a proper roof on the turkey shed, and put up a new, covered run for the turkeys. I discovered my new van doesn't have a roof rack like the old one does as I pulled into the side lot at TSC to toss some 'handy panels' up there to tie down... thank goodness for scrap cardboard!

Went to HD instead of Lowes for the rest of the stuff since HD was close to TSC... reaffirmed why I usually shop at Lowes. Ironic because as I was talking to an employee about not knowing where stuff is because I usually shop at Lowe's she said "Oh, we'll change that today!". Customer service was actually really great, but they just didn't have what I needed. Isn't corrugated metal roofing like a standard hardware store item? They only had plastic, which is why I'm replacing my chicken coop roof - with 3 fat, escapee turkeys clamoring on the chicken coop roof to roost every night, plastic just doesn't cut it. They said I could special order it so I started to do that and followed up with 'it will take 10 days to 2 weeks to come in'. Yeah, my chickens have a big hole in their coop roof right now, I need to fix it now!

I feel your pain! Several small hardware stores closer than Lowes. Not one has any corrugated roofing, or chicken wire bigger than 3 feet. Forget T-posts.

We have the metal roofing from Home Depot on our chicken coop and it looks great! It actually arrived much earlier than they had initially said it would. Good luck!
