I'm not sure, but the wing features seem like welsummer.
thanks Tillypeeps I can, send u better shot of the wing if that, would help. It was suppose to be a welsummer but the hatchery was not sure it was an extra I picked up .....when the said welsummer I was all in as I wanted one, but they weren't suppose to be available that week. I sure hope u are right. I have it narrowed to wellie or dark cornish.

Great update, I'm beginning to think that comb is looking less single. My vote goes to Dark Cornish, but time will tell. I'll post pics of my male and female Welsummers so you can compare!

Thank you Leblackbird...bUT I hope u are wrong about the cornish......lol. I really want a wellie hen. I have not figured out how a primarily meat bird got in the mix with a bunch of layers. I have looked at the comb several times and I just don't know enough tho say what kind it is, but her little wings sure are colorful.

Purebred cornish are decent layers, a lot of people will include dark and white laced red cornish in layer bundles as dual purpose breeds

Here are two of my wellies, male top, female bottom

I said it before, but my dark cornish hen is one of my favorite girls. I'm on my phone, but let's see if I can find any of her chick photos in my past uploads... hmm, doesn't want to let me look for past uploads on my phone. Will have to wait until I get to the computer then.

well Emorems0 I would love to see pics of your young cornish. The one thing I will say is,she is the 2nd friendliest chick in the brooder right behind my SLW pair she is,friendlier than my speckled sussex. Would love to see pics of the dark cornish chicks and your grown girl if u have them.

Thanks Tom.
