Photo bomb!

My lavender ameraucana babies from last week's hatch

The poults i hatched last weekend from @Dheltzel 's eggs. There's one of mine in there at the moment.

My BCM babies from the beginning of the year are getting so big, so fast! Looks like I'm going to have a good choice of cockerels and still plenty of pullets

Fuzzy little silkie butts!

And since i just happened to be in the right place at the right time, i caught Merci, just as she laid her egg lol.

I didn't get a chance to climb into the big brooder and get pictures of the CCL babies. That'll be a photo shoot another day

The lavenders are ameraucanas. They are second generation from eggs I had speed from Illinois (I think)

The marans, they are partly from dheltzel's stock. Merci, the hen in the last picture is from dheltzel. She mothered alt half of the chicks. The roaster I yard was from someone semi local. The other hewn who laid the eggs was from shipped eggs from last year and a couple of the chicks were from shipped eggs. A lot of genetic diversity there lol

I want to see the two together! Do you have a picture please? I was just thinking the other day that the barring on my hatchery BR (Sunflower) was kind of blurry. I am a newbie and have never seen a really show stock BR. Thanks!
Ok, finally got some pictures...

Molly, she is our hatchery BR, notice the width and blurring of her bars

This is Pebbles, she is from a breeder who shows his BR...notice the dark, tight barring with crisp lines...

Molly (hatchery) on left with Pebbles laying down, you will probably need to view the picture by clicking on it to see it better in a larger view.

Pebbles in pic above ,Molly left, Pebbles right in the below picture

Compare the chest views, pic 4/Pebbles to last pic/Molly to really see the difference. Will edit to label pics, still figuring out new tablet and pics aren't showing yet, just their link

Photo time...working to transfer pictures to my new tablet from the camera, definitely a steep learning curve for this technically challenged individual! LOL

We have a rooster in the house recovering from a foot issue, he found his way onto a dresser in the mudroom and we found out that a rooster REALLY doesn't like seeing himself in a mirror! He spent a good 15 minutes up there just posturing, stamping his feet and whacking the mirror. He just couldn't understand why that imposter wasn't running away!:lau
