Goats are entertaining and very relaxing. Fencing, on the other hand, not so much.

Many days I just go sit in the paddock with an apple and enjoy their love. ( OK, they just want the Apple, but that's OK). Makes the day's worries fade.

Hello and welcome!

I've been dealing with stuff since Friday. Today something very bad happened. Despite that, I keep thinking... My husband wanted to know why I don't have turkeys right now. I need more animals! Maybe some goats.

That sounds like a good turn of events, hore things settle down for you!

Does anyone live near Phillipsburg? We are head out that way this weekend for a long weekend.m sure would be nice to pick up some fertile eggs for my broody! Ssshh, don't tell my hubby...

Well, then you are really not far from us!
These are our first chickens. Four of them are 'locals' also...they came from the Bellville sale.

Look for the drake feather(s) around four months. That is a give away.
