The coop pictured is from TSC.  It is a nice coop, and my girls are doing okay now, but it will not be big enough for them for long.

I have that coop too and I love it! I just use it for a trio of Svart Honas for the meantime, but I love all the access points. I put an extra 12 foot run off of the small door in the front and it's working great. Thinking of buying a second one :)

That's tempting

Well...? Anytime!

Good Morning!
One little duckling hatched last weekend. She is such a sweet little thing. I was holding her last night and she climbed up and tried to taste my ear. I think she may become as tame and spoiled as the turkeys. There are 3 more fertile eggs in the incubator to hatch this weekend. I am hoping for 3 little companions for her.

Over 250 chicks hatched last weekend, I need to find home for some of these, they are not selling as fast now as they were. Anyone local want some Black Ameraucanas (straight run) or blue egg sexlinks (females) ?

I also have too many turkeys, they are about 4 months old now. I was planning to raise them to sell for eating, but I'd rather some go to a good home where they are not on the dinner menu.

That is tempting, I will be calling when I get my new setup. I can take older chickens/turkeys/ducks too. :D

HELLO! I have been falling behind on reading posts so I hope that all is well with my fellow PAers.....May is so darn busy! I'm not sure if you find May to be this way but between the end of school, planting the garden and (for our family) motorcycle racing...we have less hours in the day then things to do! Add in our first chicks ever ....well you get the picture.

Hope you all / yuns / you'uns / yinz / yous are having a good day! (Only in PA are all of those accepted :)

Hi! I can sympathize. ..no garden anymore, but camp, work, meat birds and broodies keep us hopping in May.
Hopefully the weather is finally cooperating so things can get done!

Hennifer's expression is priceless! They certainly do have the "yeah? You got a problem with this?" look down perfectly!

So i have a total of 22 chickens, 8 silkies and 14 large fowl, at this time (10 weeks old) i know I have at least 3 silkie roos (straight run batch) the regular chicks are supposed to be all female, basically, what I need to know is how many silkie roos could I plan on keeping around?

All. You need more chickens!
