I haven't noticed anything like that in the Jill Reese Cream Legbars I'm growing out. I keep larger flocks and have lost several, I think that is a sort of natural culling of the weaker ones. I free range most of the young roos also and let nature help select which ones make it and become breeders. I'm not sure what you mean by her tail is down, I don't try to select for SOP qualities, more for hardiness, personality and productivity.
 
Does anyone have a 14 foot cheap flat bottom boat it somewhat good shape at least. The person I want the new coop off of what's a 14 foot flat bottom boat for trade, or I have to pay the 400 dollars I'm a kid I don't have 400. Right now I am feeding 20 chickens 4 turkeys and a medium sized dog. My parents don't pay for any of it and I don't want them to pay for any of it. And if I let them buy my dogs food it would be the cheapest food it's either blue buffalo or nothing because I want the best food for my animals. We don't get allowance around here.

x2. I know how hard it is not getting an allowance and trying to pay for everything yourself. I don't hae any income at all other than egg sales which isn't much.

Like MC suggested there is no end to the number of odd jobs a youngster can do.
