they are so pretty. I want lavendar orpingtons, but I won't pay what some are asking for them. We just want them for pets. We have 2 possibly 3 roosters that we might have to part with also.

So what does everyone think? Do I have a rooster? A couple of weeks ago we went out and his/her tail feathers were all missing and his/her nub was bleeding. I put vaseline on it. I'm thinking rooster and that my other for sure rooster and he got into a fight. The other rooster was missing a couple of feathers on his back between his wings, but nothing major. When will the feathers grow back? Will it take a while?

you got a roo for sure..if you see the difference in the color of his comb and wattles he is much brighter red than the other ones
